The idea of a monorail between the Marina and the Palace Pier is flawed technically.
While running, if on batteries, it will produce very little pollution but when re-charging the batteries it will use electricity generated by fossil fuels.
I would hope it would have solar cells on the roof to help charge the batteries but technical information is a bit sparse.
I feel it would not be in the city's best interests as there is no viable route between the Marina and the pier that is not obtrusive.
Where would it be put? Above Volks railway or in front of the houses above?
