In answer to Rev John Webster (Letters, April 13), St Stephen's Church in Montpelier Place is now owned by Brighton Housing Trust.
Known as First Base Day Centre, it provides essential services to more than 150 homeless and vulnerable men and women each day.

Brighton Housing Trust bought the building in 1984. While no longer a faith-healing church, health remains part of the mission of First Base.
