Captain Ian Simpemba insists Crawley must take maximum points from their last two games to ensure the season ends on a high note.
Reds have nothing to play for against Stevenage at the Broadfield Stadium tonight after a run of one win in eight Conference games ended their play-off hopes. They round off their league campaign with a trip to fourth-bottom Northwich Victoria on Saturday.
Simpemba said: "It is hard not to go through the motions but we have to make sure we don't. We will be absolutely gutted if we end the season on a bad note because we have high expectations.
"(Assistant manager) Dave (Swindlehurst) has set us a challenge of six points. It would be an absolute travesty if we don't do it, we would have really let ourselves down."
Defender Sacha Opinel returns from a two-match suspension for Reds but Sean Hankin is serving the second of a two-game ban.
Former Crawley favourite Justin Gregory is back from suspension for Stevenage, who are one point adrift of the play-off places. Albion loan winger Albert Jarrett starts a three-match ban after he was sent off for violent conduct in Saturday's 2-0 win over Gravesend.
