In March, our son and his wife had their car stolen from outside their home in West Road, Fishersgate.
It was recovered a week later in North Street, Brighton, with a parking ticket and put in a compound for the police to deal with.
The car is a write-off. It has been smashed down both sides, the wheels are gone, the inside wrecked and even the the tax disc and wiper blades stolen.
Nearly all the contents were taken, including their four-month-old daughter's Britax combi pram, Graco car seat and pram blankets, right down to her coat and shoes.
There was a digital camera with precious photos of her and an irreplacable 21st birthday present.
All that was left in the car were a pair of ladies boots and our granddaughter's teddy.
What was the point? Doesn't it make the thieves feel guilty they stole from a four-month-old baby?
We hope whoever did this or received any of the goods feels guilty but suspect they won't.
We hope whoever stole the tax disc gets caught using it on another car and someone will be prosecuted for this crime.
