Well done Mike Ward for spotlighting, yet again, the menace of irresponsible cyclists in his column.
Pedestrians would be well advised to look both ways in future as they step gingerly from the pavement when intending to cross a one-way street as cyclists seem to be a law unto themselves.
They continually cock a snook at authority for the simple reason they can get away with it and have done for many a year.
I have written and read many an angry letter to The Argus on the subject and still nothing gets done.
So permit me to add a seventh to Mike Ward's six-point plan.
Don't fine the rogue cyclists. Instead, fine the Chief Constable of Sussex £30 per cyclist riding illegally and deduct the monthly total from his salary. What better way to use the CCTV cameras?
But seriously, if the police can't keep meandering cyclists at bay, how are they going to control the escalating drug epidemic?
