I read with interest the recent responses to Mike Ward's rant against cyclists (The Argus, April 12).
Should he wish to follow up your readers' suggestions and try cycling himself, we at Bike For Life would very much like to help him do so.
He could join the growing numbers of adults who are discovering the joys of truly independent travel by taking to a bike.
Cycling is healthy, socially-inclusive, fun, very cheap, fast, reliable and environmentally sustainable.
The more people cycle, the less traffic and pollution there will be in our overcrowded city.
Should Mike wish to take up this challenge, we will offer him a free one-to-one cycle training session which will teach how to cycle safely, confidently and responsibly on the road - and we'll even lend him a bike.
So come on, Mike, get on a bike and enjoy the sunshine.
