Two Sussex councils are competing for a national transport award.
Brighton and Hove City Council and West Sussex County Council have been shortlisted for the title of Transport Authority of the Year.
The third contender is Nottingham City Council, which was highly commended by judges in last year's awards.
Brighton and Hove City Council and West Sussex County Council are also competing to be named best bus provider, a title the city council won in 2004.
East Sussex County Council is up against three other councils to win the Most Improved Transport Authority title.
The winners of the National Transport Awards will be announced at London's Hilton hotel on June 28.
