It's over ten years now since Alison Limerick released her first solo material, and she'd been performing backing vocal duties with a number of high profile stars for a further ten before that.
In those two decades, she's carved out a niche for herself as a star of the live club music scene, thanks primarily to classics such as Where Love Lives and the Top 20 smash hit Make It On My Own. Her CV also boasts an impressive number of collaborations - her Club Classics album featured remixes by Kenlou (better known as Masters At Work) and Romanthony, while she has also sung for the Style Council and George Michael.
After a period away from the spotlight, the club diva is coming to Brighton for a rare live show, backed by a full live band. Expect a night of uplifting dance tracks that will either send you dancing down memory lane or have you wishing you were there first time around.
Show starts 9pm, tickets cost £12. Call 01273 647100.
