Readers in the Whitehawk and Manor Farm area may like to hear about the new local Good Neighbour Scheme.
We are a group of volunteers who are ready to help newcomers to the area, who perhaps want information or someone to show them around, as well as others, who perhaps have lived here some time but who feel
isolated or would like to meet people who share their interests. So please, don't be shy about contacting us.
At the moment, we are holding two drop-in sessions a week at the Valley Social Centre, Whitehawk Way (next to St Cuthman's Church), on Tuesday mornings (10am to 12pm) and Thursday afternoons (3pm to 5pm). If you can't come then, you can phone us on 07913 975577 and or send a text message to the same number.
Or, failing that, just leave your details at the Valley Social Centre and ask for someone from the Good Neighbour Scheme to contact you in person.
