I'd like to know why Churchill Square is seeking planning permission for anti-bird nets.
Before the council agrees to the nets, why doesn'tChurhill Square look into bioacoustics?
This is where the distress call of a bird is played. Birds think their they are in danger and assume the area is hostile and leave.
This system is already used on some buildings, to keep off gulls and pigeons. It is also widely used at airports throughout the world.
