Eastbourne Borough face three games in five days in their bid to reach the Conference south play-offs.
Saturday's match away to Weston-super-Mare was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch at Woodspring Park.
That game will now be played on Thursday. Before then, Borough entertain play-off rivals Bishop's Stortford tomorrow and they finish at home to Carshalton on Saturday A frustrated Borough had reached Newbury before hearing Saturday's game was off but their spirits were raised by results elsewhere, particularly Bognor's 3-2 win at Bishop's Stortford.
That result means Bishop's Stortford need a win at Priory Lane tomorrow or their challenge is over.
Bognor led 2-1 at half-time after Matt Russell scored twice in the last six minutes of the half to cancel out Richard Howell's opener for the hosts.
Stortford dominated the early stages of the second half and drew level on 67 minutes when Michael Birmingham conceded a penalty which Scott Forbes tucked away.
However, the Rocks stole a stoppage-time winner when Richard Hudson crossed from the right and Luke Nightingale rose at the far post to head home.
