Lewes virtually guaranteed a top five finish by recording a thrilling 3-2 victory against champions Grays Athletic.
The Rooks started well but fell behind on 22 minutes when Mitchell Cole's stinging left-foot drive was well saved by keeper Scott Ward, only for Dean Brennan to bury the rebound.
However, within three minutes, the two sides were level again as a Danny Davis free-kick from the left flank was met with a fierce downward header at the far post by Francis Duku.
The full-time Essex outfit went in front again after the break when Brennan checked inside on to his left foot and unleashed a thunderbolt from 25 yards which flew into the net via a post.
Once again the lead was shortlived as a delightful Paul Kennett through ball released Barrington Belgrave and he coolly lobbed Grays keeper Carl Emberson to make it 2-2.
With nine minutes remaining the Dripping Pan faithful erupted when, after good work by Kirk Watts on the left, Lee Farrell swept home the winner from close range.
Steven King's men even had chances to extend their lead, with Watts firing agonisingly wide and Emberson making a great save from a deflected Farrell effort but there were also some nervy moments at the other end before a famous triumph was sealed.
