One of the most successful shows to come out of Ireland, Spirit Of The Dance has now been seen by 30 million people worldwide, and demand is still high enough to keep the ten award-winning troupes constantly on their toes.
Mixing Irish Dance with passionate Latino rhythms, the spectacle here consists of bright lighting, even brighter costumes and the dancers' ability to move very fast in faultless formation. This year's show boasts an extra treat, however, as the sound of countless Irish shoes pounding the stage will be offset by the popular voices of Ireland's Three Tenors.
Spirit Of The Dance will also be a highlight of Worthing Theatres' newly-announced summer season, when it arrives on July 7. The new Worthing programme will be a particular treat for comedy fans, featuring Freddie Starr (June 3), Bobby Davro (June 8), Des O'Connor (June 25), Jimmy Tarbuck (Aug 20) and Jim Davidson (July 26 and Aug 16). All summer shows are booking now on 01903 206206.
