JAMIE Taylor scored four times to give Horsham the perfect tonic ahead of tomorrow's play-off semi-final against Cray Wanderers.
Taylor was in electric form as the Hornets crushed Ashford Town 5-0 to ensure they finished third in Ryman division one.
After some indifferent performances recently, the result was just what Horsham wanted.
Assistant manager Tommy Warrilow said: "We have been stopping and starting in the last three or four games. We told the players on Saturday to relax and enjoy themselves because I think they have been too tense.
"We asked them to get it passing and moving again and Jamie Taylor started doing things we knew he could do."
Taylor's four-goal blast took his tally to 30 for the season while Gary Charman added the fifth with more than half an hour to play.
Warrilow is not worried about facing Cray Wanderers.
He said: "Whatever happens now we have finished third and have had a great season.
"We drew 2-2 at home to Cray and beat them 2-1 away. I know all their lads and I like the way they play football. They have a little physical element too but they are fair with it."
Horsham hope to pick from a full-strength squad. Ryan Rummery rested a hamstring problem on Saturday but should be fit while goalkeeper Luke Burton is available after suspension.
