In order to exercise my democratic rights I have applied for a postal vote in the forthcoming elections and, bearing in mind the concerns about potential fraud, I can understand how this could very easily happen.
The application forms for the postal ballot papers are quite straightforward but ask for the address to which the ballot papers should be sent.
This in itself is surely an open invitation to fraud and I would have thought it was not beyond the wit of the electoral officers to ensure the ballot papers are sent to the address for the voters shown on the electoral roll.
Perhaps I am being a bit too simplistic in this matter.
