A company which has been at the forefront of natural health and nutritional supplements is celebrating its 40th anniversary.
Husband and wife team David and Sheila Gaiman began trading as G&G Food Supplies from their home in East Grinstead in 1965.
They started by selling vitamin E to UK and European mail-order customers and by the early Seventies they had branched out to other products and opened a shop in East Grinstead High Street In 1997 they bought a 31,000sqft warehouse in the town to manufacture Trufil capsules. Today, the company produces three million capsules a week.
Mr Gaiman said: "We've never wanted to be the biggest. Our mission is to set a standard of quality, integrity and independence for others to emulate.
"The company will continue and it is our intention that each generation of directors and executives revitalises the company while maintaining our purpose."
