Lloyd Newson, founder of DV8 Physical Theatre, directs the UK premiere of his award-winning company's first new work in five years.
Entitled Just For Show, this astounding piece of physical theatre is all about showing and about showing off.
In a world where looking good has become more important than being good, where faking it has become synonymous with making it, DV8 have chosen to explore the importance of appearances and illusions in our lives.
Using virtual projection, optical illusion and word play, DV8's international cast performs before a sculptural backdrop of threedimensional visuals, searching out the gaps between expectation and reality.
Psychologically probing, visually arresting and deeply affecting, Just For Show reveals the tragicomic foibles of the human condition and our own inherent fallibility.
Since forming in 1986, DV8 have earned themselves an international reputation as pioneers of physical theatre, a potent and captivating hybrid of dance and drama.
Shows start 8pm Saturday, 7pm Sunday and 8pm Monday- Wednesday. £22.50/£15
