Cutting edge Frantic Assembly theatre company again push back the boundaries with their first sitespecific show - an escorted wander through a disused Art Deco hotel on the hills in Saltdean.
The theme is dirty weekends and the audience are treated to a debauched tour of the Grand Ocean Hotel in the company of ten hedonists hell-bent on letting their hair down.
Bedrooms, ballrooms and kitchens are transformed into narcotic playgrounds for these beautiful young things, as they search into the very heart of the hotel and its secrets.
This dark, soulful show attacks all the senses at once, creating a powerfully intimate bond with its audience.
The performance was specially commissioned by the Brighton Festival and is inspired by Nan Goldins brutal photography. To complete the dirty weekend atmosphere, the downward spiral of sin takes place to the sounds of the legendary sex-pop band Goldfrapp.
The setting is strange and magical, the show innovative. The voyage begins at the Brighton Dome ticket office where buses whisk the audience to the hotel.
Starts 5.45pm, 7.30pm, 9pm. SOLD OUT.
