The Sacconi String Quartet was formed in 2001 at London's Royal College of Music.
Taking their name from the outstanding 20th-century Italian violin maker and author, the group are fast gaining a reputation as one of the finest young chamber music ensembles in the country impressive qualities for such a young ensemble.
They are renowned for their seamless interaction and intuitive group dynamics.
Today they perform Haydn's op 20 No 6 and Bartok's Quartet No 1.
