Albion striker Leon Knight today vowed to return to goalscoring form after agreeing to sign a new one-year contract.
The Argus exclusively revealed in yesterday's late edition that Knight has finally settled his future and ended a contract saga which has dragged on for months.
He goes into the vital fixture at home to Ipswich with only four goals to his name in the Championship and none in his last 14 appearances after spearheading promotion via the play-offs last season with 27 goals.
Knight said: "Next season I'll be looking to hit the goalscoring heights I did last season. I believe we will still be in the Championship and next time I think we can finish in mid-table."
Knight's contract pledges comes after manager Mark McGhee signed a two-year extension until June 2007.
"The manager signing hasn't influenced me," he said. "I just want to stay anyway."
