I know it is too early to talk about Christmas but the Sussex Beacon charity would like to produce some unique Christmas cards for 2005 and is looking for original artwork, in any medium, to be donated for our Brighton-focused Christmas cards.
We are looking for fresh images of Brighton and Hove. They should have a wide appeal and the only criteria is that they are of "ever so" Brighton and Hove features.
The chosen pictures will join our current range of cards. Anyone can offer their artwork and images, whether they are established artists, budding artists - even those who "can't paint, won't paint" but like the sound of our Christmas card appeal.
We will be holding an exhibition of entrants' work at a local venue to be confirmed.
All proceeds from the sale of these cards will help the Sussex Beacon continue to provide its specialist care and support for men and women living with HIV and Aids at its purpose-built facility in north Brighton.
Anyone interested can call Sussex Beacon during office hours on 01273 694222 and ask for Julie.
