I have recently returned from a short break in West Dorset and while there, I visited the small trams in Seaton, Devon.
I was astonished to read this small tramway was first built then tested and run in Eastbourne.
Can anyone enlighten me as to where it ran from and who in Eastbourne made the momentous blunder not to further develop it there? In Seaton, it is obviously a large tourist attraction.
This raises the question, will the proposed Brighton monorail go the same way and be picked up by another seaside resort while our councillors prevaricate?
