Campaigners trying to stop the construction of a park-and-ride site have invited supporters to a series of rallying events.
Residents of Patcham, Brighton, have formed a protest group called Patcham Against Insensitive and Destructive Development (PAIDD).
They want to block a Brighton and Hove City Council proposal to build a 900-space car park either on Braypool Playing Field, near the RSPCA shelter in Patcham, or at Patcham Court Farm, south of the A23/A27 junction.
PAIDD will hand out leaflets and collect signatures from a stall at the Patcham Duck Fayre, which will take place in the centre of the village on Saturday from 1.45pm.
The next group meeting will be in Room 2, Patcham Community Centre, Ladies Mile Road, on May 21 from 10am until midday.
