To quote Prime Minister Tony Blair from the web site www.walktoschool.org.uk/site.htm with regard to national "walk to school week", from Monday, May 23 to Friday, May 27, 2005, "the Government is committed to making the journey to and from school safer and healthier for all children".
I wonder if the journey to school for the parents and pupils of Downs Infants, Junior, Hopscotch Nursery, Fiveways Playgroup or Hertford Junior will be made "safer and healthier" if Onyx's proposal for a "waste transfer facility" - read "toxic dump" - is given the go ahead by Brighton and Hove City Council?
