As A regular at the Treason Show at the Komedia, I was disappointed by this month's effort.
The Treason Show has been a regular event for me and my husband for a few years now but we object to paying good money to see a "biting topical satirical sketch show" which, this month, offered sketches and songs which had been used in previous shows.
How disappointed to find a team usually so good at poking fun at the Establishment has lost it's way so much they have to rely on old songs and sketches to entertain us - and especially in an election month.
I hate to say it but the show and some of its cast are looking tired. And some of us in the audience are getting tired of the same jokes being repeated.
Michael Howard is always a bloodsucking vampire, Tony Blair is a smarmy toad and Charles Kennedy is always a drunk. They're not showing much of the imagination they used to.
It's time they got back their roots, delivering a funny show which feels fresh and cutting edge.
And please, stop trying to entertain the middle-aged audience with take off's of songs we don't know. My son loves Rachel Stevens but I unfortunately wouldn't know her music if she sang it to me personally.
I'll give it one more go next month but it's time they pulled their finger out, lost the same old characters and gave us a new approach.
