Christy Moore is almost as renowned for his mastery of the informal aside as his heartfelt and charismatic reinvention of Irish folk music.
Former founder of Celtic fusion supergroup Planxty, Moore has become one of Ireland's most influential singersongwriters, namechecked by the likes of U2, Sinead O'Connor, The Pogues and Elvis Costello.
Raised on a diet of Elvis Presley, church music and Chuck Berry, Moore discovered the musical traditions of his homeland in the Irish ghettos of late-Sixties London.
Catch him at his quintessential best - live, solo and with a surprise or two inevitably waiting in the wings.
Starts 8pm, tickets £28.50/£25
