I've read N Butler's letter (Letters, May 13) several times and I'm still not sure what he is trying to say except he seems to think a lack middle-class pupils is responsible for Falmer High School's problems.
That may or may not be true but why should I - or any parent - be forced - because that is what has happened in East Brighton - to send my child to a school I don't want them to attend?
If that attitude makes me middle-class, then good. Being called middle-class is a compliment.
My next ambition is for my daughter not to go to the type of school I went to. Why should she?
