Amid all the wonderful creativity and excellent variety of performance arts which makes the Brighton Festival the amazing event it is, spare a thought for the many artists unable to express their creativity because of the oppressive nature of the regimes under which they live.
To remind us, Amnesty International has put together a thought-provoking exhibition of cartoons and photographs on the theme of human rights as part of the Open House scheme, where you can also write a letter of protest and gorge yourself on delicious home-made cakes.
It is at 3 Arundel Street and is open from 12-4pm on Sunday, May 22.
