Getting children to go to the theatre can be like trying to force-feed them Brussel sprouts.
But chuck in a huge dose of adventure and suddenly theatre can be as exciting as cd:uk.
Noah's Ark, the world's best-known nautical adventure, takes the classic Old Testament story and imagines what it would be like on board a ship filled with animals, the food running out and a power-crazed parrot trying to take control.
"When our audience climb the gangplank, they want to be taken on a journey," says producer Liz Pugh, who founded Walk The Plank in 1991. "And we do just that, creating magical worlds of theatrical invention for local people and visitors in ports and harbours nationwide."
Starts 7.30pm, with a 2.30pm Saturday matinee on May 28. Tickets cost £7.50/£10. Tickets are two-for-one on Tuesday. Call 01273 709709
