On Friday, May 13 at 14.30, two elderly men were travelling in a car along the Old Shoreham Road in Hove.
When they arrived at Furniture Village, the elderly driver indicated to turn right into Neville Road.
The lights were red so they waited until they turned green, whereupon he moved into the centre of the road.
Instead of continuing, they stopped in the middle of the road.
By the time they had made their minds up to continue into Neville Road, the filter light had turned red.
Instead of staying where they were, they then tried to get across in front of the other traffic.
Their engine stalled, horns were going, people shouting but all these silly old men could do was laugh.
People over the age of 70 should re-take their driving test and people over the age of 80 should be kept off the road altogether. They are a danger to themselves and others.
