Electrical retailer Comet is investing £1 million in a new store in Crawley which will create 30 new jobs.
The store, in County Oak Retail Park, opens at the end of June and will have more than 18,000 sq ft of retail space.
It will replace the existing Comet store in Telford Place, Southgate Avenue. As part of the move, staff have undergone a four-week training course in customer service and administration.
Store manager Dave Forest said: "In order to give our customers the best possible shopping experience we need to invest in our staff.
"The whole investment package is a fantastic good news story for the people of Crawley."
