Celia Barlow said she was against tall buildings on the seafront and would "campaign to stop large blocks of flats on the Caffyns site".
Yet she has also called Frank Gehry's design "the most beautiful thing I have ever seen", adding, "it is... fantastic... this is going to be built on Hove seafront".
"Going to be built"? Does Ms Barlow know something we don't?
I have repeatedly asked the council when it will carry out an environmental impact assessment and have still not received an answer.
