To celebrate the bicentenary of Hans Christian Andersen's birth, this young Danish ensemble presents a chamber concert of period works and new compositions inspired by the author's fairytales.
The programme features Mendelssohn's Piano Trio in D minor and Schumann's Trio for clarinet, cello and piano (both Andersen's contemporaries).
The concert will also showcase the world premiere of two new short pieces written to recreate Andersen's fantastical world, including The Snow Queen and The Dying Child.
Starts 1pm, tickets £6.
