Hundreds of people gathered in a cathedral to celebrate the life of a loving grandmother stabbed to death in McDonald's.
Family and friends met in Chichester Cathedral to pay tribute to Jackie Marshall, described as "a terrific and very special lady" who was a friend to everyone she met.
Mrs Marshall, 57, who lived in Second Avenue, Southbourne, was killed as she supervised a children's party at the restaurant in Terminus Road, Chichester, last month.
Her husband Eddie, 62, told the packed cathedral he knew it was difficult but more than anything he wanted the service to be a celebration of his wife's life.
He said: "I know it's hard but think of the happy times, the good times, the times she made us laugh. Because that's who Jackie really was."
A tribute read on behalf of McDonald's manager Neil Jones said the restaurant was a completely different place without their longest-serving worker.
A private committal at Chichester Crematorium followed the service.
