At a charity street collection held in Shoreham-by-Sea on Saturday, April 30, Hove and Adur Sea Cadets managed to raise £192.44.
The unit's chairman, Commander Ian Wright, thanked all those who made donations and said the money raised would help meet the continuing needs of the unit and provide for funds to keep its activities going.
Hove and Adur Sea Cadets Unit, whose motto is "serious fun", meets on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at the Cadet Centre in Marmion Road, Hove.
For more information on the activities the cadets undertake and to contact the boating station, call Ian Wright on 01273 594697 or email ian@lawreny.net. The cadet centre can also be contacted on tel: 01273 770656 or 07990 591187.
