I wonder which bright spark in the council decided traffic would move more easily in the Coombe Road area by closing Natal Road and blocking half of Coombe Road in several places.
These "traffic calming" measures don't make people calm. Drivers
coming down the road will race to get through before the car with priority reaches the same point.
Many an argument will ensue as those with priority refuse to stop, as will those coming in the opposite direction without priority. And pity the poor people who have to cross that road.
This decision must have been made by someone with no idea of the road needs of local people.
