Swinging Sixties icon Twiggy is set to join the cast of this year's Jack And The Beanstalk pantomime at one of the top Sussex theatres.
Twiggy, one of Britain's best-loved models, will join the cast of the panto at the Theatre Royal in Brighton.
She will play the Fairy alongside Peak Practice actor Simon Shepherd and one of the South Coast's favourite Dames, Ian Good, who wowed audiences in last year's panto, Dick Whittington.
They will be joined by BBC Southern Counties radio regular Bill Buckley and children's TV presenter Anna Williamson. The show will be directed by Broadway and West End actor Leigh Lawson, Twiggy's husband.
Twiggy has developed her career as an acclaimed stage, film and TV actress. She was the winner of two Golden Globe awards in The Boyfriend, received a Tony Award nomination for My One And Only and appeared at the Theatre Royal two years ago when she starred in Bernard Shaw's drama Mrs Warren's Profession.
