In response to DW McBeth (Letters, May 26), the letters page in The Argus is for people to write in about anything they wish.
The Argus does not have to invite letters to be written - or are you unable to do anything without being prompted?
You stated: "The homeless plight of Brighton and Hove Albion football club can never be used as justification for building a colossal concrete carbuncle on the South Downs."
Is this the same so-called "area of natural beauty" (AONB) which houses a busy dual carriageway, ugly, outdated university buildings and a railway line?
Not such an AONB now is it?
Have ever been to the site?
Living in Hassocks as you do, it would surprise me if you even knew where the site was. I'd be happy to show you around. See you there next tomorrow?
