It is no good the Conservative Party arguing about a new leader. They already have one in Tony Blair - the Labour Party has become the New Conservative Party.
Before the recent General Election, Tony Blair pompously announced his party was the party of business interests.
On Sunday May 22, Gordon Brown joyously announced "we will give first-time buyers up to 50 per cent of the price of the house they want to buy to give such people a step up the ladder".
Labour MPs and many of their supporters slated Maggie Thatcher when she announced tenants of council homes would be able to purchase them at a discount price.
It would appear "affordable housing" is "council housing" in disguise. The intention is exactly the same in both cases -to get council home dwellers to buy their houses.
With two such similar leaders, so much for so-called democracy.
