Traders are to benefit from a free cardboard and paper collection service.
The North Laine Traders' Association has finally found a company who will relieve shop owners of all their throwaway cardboard.
Until now, traders have had to send their old boxes and packaging to landfill.
Now Cliff Ainsworth, who runs a newsagents in Trafalgar Street, Brighton, has secured the services of Langridge Waste to collect and recycle it for free.
The company has a certificate of registration with the Environment Agency, which verifies it is disposing of the waste in the correct way.
