It has been a strange and winding road for Turin Brakes.
When they hit the scene with their magnificent debut The Optimist in 2001 they started a new acoustic revolution.
But as their popularity grew, so did the size of the venues they were playing and suddenly their intimate two-guys-on-stools style of performance wasn't enough.
Criticised for being boring, the Brakes lost their edge and their follow-up album Ether Song saw raw emotion replaced by bland corporate cool.
But with their latest album, Jack In A Box, they are back on spectacular form and in the album charts at number 9.
This amazing acoustic gig offered fans the chance to hear new tracks such as Fishing For A Dream, Over And Over and Road To Nowhere alongside Optimist classics Feeling Oblivion, Future Boy, Save Me and Emergency 72.
Relaxed, chatty and with an undeniable sparkle in their eyes, it's plain to see Ollie and Gale have got their mojo back.
