I would like to thank Brighton and Hove council for changing my street to residential parking status.
For many years in St Johns Place, we have had to endure local businesses not having adequate parking facilities. They would park here, taking up all places from as early as 6am until late evening.
There is a nursery school in the street and parents would park on pavements and double-yellow lines while dropping off children. Feelings of anger and frustration began to run high.
Now, I can park with ease at any time of the day, albeit at a cost of £80 a year.
