E Hall (Letters, June 3) demonstrates a distinctly unchristian point of view, denouncing Debbie Gaston's desire to be entitled to marry before God.
After the opening line - "I have nothing against homosexuals - in fact, I know several nice gay people" - there was only one direction this letter was taking.
I hope Debbie's God will be among the happy witnesses on December 21 and wish her, Elaine, and all those who choose to celebrate their commitment through a civil partnership, all the best for the future.
