A website has been launched to allow people to comment on architect Frank Gehry's plans to create a futuristic development on the seafront.
Members of the public will be able to tell developer Karis Holdings what they think of the £220 million scheme to create homes and facilities at the site of the King Alfred Leisure Centre.
This week the project attracted criticism from Brighton and Hove City councillors, who said it had not been thought through and that there were significant changes from the brief originally issued by the council as landowner.
The plans have not been finalised and have yet to be submitted as a formal planning application. When that happens, a formal consultation will take place so everyone with an interest can make their views known.
In the meantime, Karis has launched its own website so people can make comments which will be considered by the project architects.
Heather James, the community liaison and communications co-ordinator for Karis, said: "Karis is committed to widespread consultation as we develop the proposals for the King Alfred site.
"We hope people will log on to consider the proposals and register their views. All the feedback we receive will be carefully considered."
The website was due to go live today with details of the plans. Visit www.thekingalfred.org
