The Engine Room, Brighton, Wednesday, June 15
The Towers Of London look like Motley Crue on a bad hair day and they sound like The Sex Pistols welded to Guns 'n' Roses riffs.
On stage, they shout "boring" at the audience, and after driving home threeminute singles like On A Noose and F*** It Up with chaotic vitriol, they might destroy part the lightning rig or take down half the ceiling.
Off stage, the behaviour gets worse.
Run-ins with ex-band members add assault charges to accusations of criminal damage.
Centred around brothers Dick and Donny Tourette, Towers Of London are like early Manics without the intellectual lyrics. But don't let that make you think they don't care about the music.
"Johnny Greenwood from Radiohead came to watch us at Nottingham Rock City.
"But we never got to meet him, so if he's reading this we want let him know that we want to go out for a beer with him."
Starts 8pm, tickets cost £5/6. Call 01273 728999.
