Environmentally-friendly companies have won awards for helping to promote green tourism.
More than 30 businesses, including hotels, youth hostels, pubs and visitor attractions successfully completed an initiative spear-headed by Tourism South-East and the areas of outstanding natural beauty in Sussex and Hampshire.
The businesses, all based around the South Downs, were rewarded for good practice in environmental and responsible tourism at a ceremony at Seven Sisters Country Park.
Alfriston and Arundel youth hostels, the Ashdown Forest Llama Park and the Seven Sisters Country Park were among the gold medal winners.
