Sussex glamour model Jordan has given birth to a baby boy.

The baby, as yet unnamed, was born just after 10am yesterday, weighing 5lb 13oz.

Jordan and fianc Peter Andre were "thrilled" with the new arrival.

Mother and baby were "healthy and happy" and recovering in the private Portland Hospital in central London, the model's spokeswoman said.

Jordan, 27, gave birth by Caesarean section.

The new baby is a little brother for Harvey, Jordan's three-year-old son by footballer Dwight Yorke.

"Both Peter and Katie are thrilled with the new addition to their family," the spokeswoman said.

"Katie and the baby are healthy and happy, and will be spending the next few days resting in hospital.

"Peter and Katie would like to thank everyone for their messages of congratulations and best wishes."

Jordan met former pop star Andre on the ITV reality show I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

The couple plan to wed in September.

Kerry Katona will be a bridesmaid and the guest list includes Charlotte Church and her boyfriend Gavin Henson.

Jordan, real name Katie Price, who lives in Maresfield, had planned a natural birth but had a Caesarean after experiencing complications in her pregnancy.

Outside the hospital proud father Peter Andre said: "He's beautiful and healthy and he does look like me, I have to tell you that."
