Drag artist Betty Swallocks is working with his community to help residents enter a float in this year's gay Pride event in Brighton.
Betty, who lives in Whitehawk, Brighton, is lending his support to the Pride in Whitehawk and Manor Farm group in this year's parade in August.
The group has received a £1,500 grant from Pride in Brighton and Hove to help fund the float.
The theme of this year's Pride is heroes and heroines, and the group is holding workshops to make the float and costumes.
Anyone who is gay, lesbian, bi-sexual or transgender living or working in Whitehawk and Manor Farm group should telephone Fintan Tynan on 01273 676785.
