Campaigners are holding a public meeting about proposals for a controversial waste transfer site.
Waste contractor Onyx has applied for permission to build a waste transfer site in Hollingdean Lane, Brighton.
The application has spawned a groundswell of protest and an opposition group called Dump the Dump, whose supporters claim it will create traffic and pollution in a residential area.
On Wednesday more than 100 protesters attended a meeting at Hertford Infants School in Brighton to discuss the plans, which are being opposed by a number of Brighton and Hove city councillors and MP David Lepper.
Jenny Rowlands, Brighton and Hove City Councils director of the environment, will be joined by representatives from Onyx at the next meeting at Downs Infants School, Ditchling Road, on Thursday.
The time of the meeting has yet to be confirmed.
