What an amazing job the Dump the Dump team have done harnessing local fury about the proposed Waste Transfer Facility in Hollingdean Lane (The Argus, June 20).
With 2,200 objectors, it shows residents' anger. I'm sure hundreds more people also object but have not yet had the chance to write to Brighton and Hove City Council.
And let's not forget that local political figures, such as David Lepper MP and Keith Taylor, have also spoken out against the plans.
I would also like to thank The Argus for covering the issue and giving local people a platform to speak out against Government and corporate decisions which would have a detrimental impact.
